Off the beaten path is a cool place to explore sometimes.
Finding interesting and unusual vintage tool watches is something we love to do and offer to you guys. This one is very cool!
This is an early example of the Railmaster, Omega’s professional series watch for those operating in environments of high magnetic fields.
It’s the equivalent of the Rolex Milgauss or the IWC Ingenieur. Dating to 1963, the watch has a 38mm steel case, with extra thick dial (1mm thick instead of the usual 0.4mm) and special antimagnetic inner case back and the case back features a hippocampus.
This Railmaster’s dial is in lovely original condition with stunning patina on the hour markers and crisp white text. The manual wind Calibre 286 movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
